LIPTON Teas and Infusions, the world’s largest tea business with a remarkable portfolio of over 30 world-class brands, including iconic names like Lipton, PG Tips, TAZO, Brooke Bond, and B-Corp certified Pukka and T2 is looking for a strategic and enthusiastic Area Manager under Customer Development Department which entails the following roles:
Job Roles:
1. Lead and manage a team of Territory Officer to execute sales strategies and evaluate their performance and generate improvement plans
2. Attain sales target by ensuring proper distribution of products & services and build robust retail channel across the geography through outlet exp-ansion, growth etc.
3. Create sales plans and forecasts for the area which includes setting targets, quotas, and budgets and tracking progress against these goals
4. Monitor market trends, competition, and customer preferences within the area. Use this information to make data-driven decisions and adjust strategies as needed
5. Analyse the designated market and ensure 100% potential outlet coverage and ensure sales growth of assigned brands and explore untapped market
6. Managing and strengthening of relevant internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Distributors, Retailers, Wholesalers etc.).
7. Overall Development (Coaching, Growth) of the team.
8. Driving central thrust areas & key projects within the territory i.e. NPI, activation
9. Review GTM strategies
10. Plan and execute POSM
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
1. Bachelor/Master’s degree from UGC approved university
2. 4-6 years of relevant work experience from any leading FMCG company.
3. In-depth knowledge on current market scenario & business
4. Strong understanding of insights and analytical skill
5. Proactive, Articulated, Motivated, Organized, a Self-starter as a Team Player
6. Strong capability for interdepartmental coordination
